Extension

Extension – Washington State University will lead the extension program.

Objectives are:

1. Develop and deploy an extension program that provides small- to medium-size landowners a rational basis for decision making on whether to participate in biorefinery supply systems.
2. Reduce crop failure risk by training landowners to establish/manage hardwood energy farms.
3. Improve social outcomes by providing outreach to communities that are impacted by a local biorefinery.
